How to add lash lifts and brow lamination to your menu

Lash lifts and brow lamination are some of the best-value services a salon can add: short appointments, low product cost, no special equipment and clients who come back every six to eight weeks. Here is how to plan, price and sell them.

Why add them

  • Short appointments. About an hour for a lash lift and tint, and 45 to 60 minutes for brow lamination.
  • Low product cost. Kit product works out at roughly R120 to R225 per treatment (see below).
  • Built-in rebooking. Results last six to eight weeks for lashes and four to six for brows.
  • Strong demand. “Brow lamination” (3,600) and “lash lift” (2,400) are among the most searched beauty treatments in South Africa each month, and “lash filler near me” alone gets about 590 searches.

Product cost per treatment

Prices below are InLei® South Africa list prices at the time of writing; check product pages for current prices.

Treatment Kit Kit price Treatments Kit product per client
Lash lift and lamination Lash Filler® 25.9 kit R6,700 about 30 to 35 about R190 to R225
Brow lamination Brow Bomber kit R4,800 up to 40 about R120

Add tint, developer, pads, applicators and cleanser. These are small amounts per client but should be in your costing.

Setting your price

Work it out in three steps:

  1. Your cost: kit product plus consumables plus your time (your hourly rate times the appointment length).
  2. Your market: what salons near you charge for a comparable lift, lamination or tint.
  3. Your positioning: a named, tested system such as Lash Filler®, with its 25% thicker and 9% longer results after three sessions, supports a premium over a generic lift.

Worked example (use your own numbers): if your kit product and consumables come to R260, and your time is worth R250 an hour, a one-hour lift and tint costs you about R510. Price it so it covers that, sits sensibly against local competitors and leaves the margin you need.

  • Lash lift and tint as the core service.
  • Lash Filler® course of three, booked six to eight weeks apart, to deliver the tested thickening result.
  • Brow lamination, tint and shape as one brow appointment.
  • Lash and brow package: lift, lamination and both tints in one visit.
  • Korean Method lash lift as a premium option once you are trained.

Grow revenue with aftercare

Clients who buy aftercare keep results longer and come back happier. The InLei® aftercare range is made to retail:

  • Oil-free cleansing mousses (Aloe Vera, Lemon Mix, Pomegranate), in full and travel sizes.
  • Fashion Lash nourishing lash fixer.
  • Adiutrix lash and brow growth serum.
  • Frida Precision and Frida Volume mascaras.

Counter displays and exhibitor packs are available for salons.

Frequently asked questions

How much should I charge for a lash lift?

Set your price from your costs and your local market: product cost per treatment, your time, and what nearby salons charge for a comparable treatment. A tested system such as Lash Filler® supports a premium price.

How long does a lash lift appointment take?

Plan 60 minutes for a lift and tint, including consultation. Brow lamination with tint takes about 45 to 60 minutes.

How often will clients rebook?

Lash lifts every six to eight weeks and brow lamination every four to six weeks. Book the next appointment before the client leaves.

Can my salon sell InLei® aftercare to clients?

Yes. The InLei® aftercare range, including the mousses, Fashion Lash, Adiutrix serum and Frida mascaras, is made to be sold to clients, and counter displays are available.
