For professionals
Lash lift kit: what South African salons need
Your lash lift kit decides how consistent your results are, how much each treatment costs you, and how confident clients feel booking again. “Lash lift kit” gets about 590 searches a month in South Africa, and many options are home kits that are not made for salon work. Here is what a professional kit should include and how to compare them.
What a professional lash lift kit should include
| Component | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Perming lotion (step 1) | Softens the lash so it takes the shield’s shape |
| Fixing lotion (step 2) | Sets the new curl |
| Nourishing step | Protects and conditions the hair after processing |
| Shield glue | Holds lashes on the shield without residue |
| Silicone shields in several sizes | Matches the curl to each client’s lash length and eye shape |
| Pre-treatment cleanser | Removes oils so lotions process evenly |
| Applicators, combs and tools | Precise, hygienic application |
| Written protocol and timings | Consistent results across your team |
Tint and developer are usually bought separately so you can choose your shades.
Bottles or single-dose sachets?
Bottles give the lowest cost per treatment if you do several lifts a week. Single-dose sachets never oxidise once opened, so they suit salons that do a few lifts a month, mobile technicians and training.
InLei® offers both:
- Lash Filler® 25.9 kit, the full professional set, for about 30 to 35 treatments.
- Lash Filler® 25.9 sachet kit, with steps 1 to 3 and Lash Molecular 4 in single doses.
- Lash Filler® 25.9 mini kit, four 1.2 ml sachets for trying the system.
Working out cost per treatment
Divide the kit price by the number of treatments it delivers, then add consumables (pads, applicators, tint). For example, at the time of writing the full Lash Filler® 25.9 kit costs R6,700 for about 30 to 35 treatments, which is roughly R190 to R225 of kit product per client before tint and consumables. Check the product page for the current price.
Why salons choose Lash Filler®
- Tested results. Following the official protocol, lashes are 25% thicker and 9% longer after three treatments, which gives clients a reason to rebook.
- Four steps, not two. Lash Filler® 3 nourishes with vegetable keratin, and Lash Molecular 4 helps rebuild the hair.
- Vegan certified. The 25.9 range carries VEGAN OK certification.
- Made in Italy, and distributed in South Africa by the official sole distributor, with local stock and support.
- A full shield range. From the ONE shields in sizes S to XXL to universal FORMA shields.
Training comes first
A great kit in untrained hands still gives uneven results. InLei® South Africa runs:
- The two-day in-person Lash Filler® course, with the full kit included (enough for up to 30 treatments) and post-course support on WhatsApp.
- The online Lash Filler® conversion course for technicians who already hold a lash lift certificate.
- The Korean Method lash lift course for advanced lifts with InLei® S-Powder.
See all dates and cities in the course guide.
Buying as a salon
Professional products are sold to trained beauticians, salons and stockists. Browse the Lash Filler® range or read how to add lash lifts to your salon menu.
Frequently asked questions
What comes in a professional lash lift kit?
At minimum, a perming lotion, a fixing lotion, a glue for the silicone shields, shields in several sizes, and applicators. Better kits add a nourishing step, tint and developer, a pre-treatment cleanser and a full protocol.
How many treatments does a lash lift kit do?
It depends on the format. The InLei® Lash Filler® 25.9 kit with bottles does about 30 to 35 treatments. Single-dose sachet kits suit salons that do fewer lifts and want no waste.
Can I buy InLei® Lash Filler® without training?
Lash Filler® is sold for professional use. InLei® South Africa recommends either the two-day Lash Filler® course or, for technicians already certified in lash lifting, the online conversion course.
Is a lash lift kit from a pharmacy the same as a professional kit?
No. Home kits are made for occasional personal use. Professional kits use salon-strength lotions with timing protocols for different lash types, and come with training and support.
