The story of Lash Filler®: from lash perm to proven results
Lash Filler® began with a frustration. InLei® founder Tatiana Shcherbyna had her first lash perm in Ukraine in the early 2000s and, with very fair, fine lashes, barely saw a result. Years later, working with lash extensions in Italy, she started studying the chemistry of the lash perm and set out to build a treatment that actually improved the lash.
Shields made for every eye
It started with the curlers. With Maria Ravinskaiya, a lash lifting master who has trained many of today’s trainers, Tatiana spent months designing a set of silicone shields to fit every eye shape and lash length. The result was a waste-free, reusable set of platinum silicone shields, made in Italy.
A filler, not just a perm
At the same time, working with Italian chemists, Tatiana and her husband developed the formulas:
- A very gentle perm as the base of the treatment.
- A tint designed to work with the perm chemistry, using a mild 1.5% developer, as recommended by EU cosmetics regulation for lashes and brows.
- The Filler, which seals the process and defines, nourishes, thickens and strengthens the lash.
Lash Filler® became a professional treatment in July 2017.
Measured, not claimed
Clinical tests at a Milan research institute measured lash diameter before treatment, straight after, and four and eight weeks later. Lashes stayed thicker weeks after each session, showing the filler remains sealed inside the cuticle. The original line averaged 24% thicker lashes over three treatments.

The current Lash Filler® 25.9 line goes further: plant-based keratin, VEGAN OK certification and tested results of 25% thicker and 9% longer lashes after three treatments.
